Automated vending machines go green with energy saving technology
In primis, First and foremost, Progresso Vending decided to install the cutting-edge “Energy Saving” system in all of its automatic vending machines (included in all the new machines, added on to existing machines) with the aim of optimising energy saving, increasing efficiency and minimising energy costs.
What’s more, all of our restocking agents are provided with vehicles equipped with refrigerators that are powered by solar panels to maintain the cold chain and preserve the products using renewable energy.
As an additional measure to protect the environment in accordance with the underlying eco-friendly philosophy which we have adopted and made our own, all of Progresso Vending’s vehicles are gas powered. Even within our own logistics area, we use only electric vehicles for moving products around.
Progresso Vending, which has always been inclined towards environmentally sustainable solutions, in addition to using products that are certified 100% organic, has also adopted a series of “low environmental impact accessories” such as stack recycling bins for plastic cups and stirrers, cup shredders, plastic bottle and aluminium can crushers, water dispensers with “Silver Turbo Clean”, etc.
